Who we are

Cobote (cobote.app) is a service of RENTATOP TECH, S.L., Tax ID B26742510, Calle José Antonio Coderch, 50, 28055 Madrid, Spain (email: [email protected]). By using Cobote you accept these terms.

The service

Cobote helps organise a group trip: what to buy, what each person has paid, the games and the final balance, with the fewest payments to square up. It is free, needs no sign-up and works in the browser.

Cobote only keeps notes. It doesn't charge, make payments or handle money between users: everyone pays each other however they like, outside Cobote. The calculations are a help; check them before paying each other.

Each trip's link

Each trip has a secret link, and anyone with it can see and edit the trip. You are responsible for sharing it only with your group. Cobote cannot tell who made each change, nor undo it if someone with the link deletes or changes something.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Cobote for its intended purpose and lawfully. In particular, you may not:

• use it for illegal activities, including betting or gambling for money where not allowed by applicable law; Cobote only keeps score of games among friends;
• write other people's data that isn't needed (surnames, phone numbers, bank details…) or offensive content;
• try to access other people's trips, overload the service or automate the creation of trips.

We may delete trips or limit access if these terms are breached.

Availability and changes

We do what's reasonable to keep Cobote running and not lose data, but it is provided as is, with no guarantee of being free of interruptions or errors. We may change, extend or stop offering features, and delete trips with no changes for more than 12 months. If these terms change, we'll update this page.

Liability

RENTATOP TECH, S.L. is not liable for agreements or payments between users, nor for the content they write. To the extent permitted by law, it is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service. Nothing here limits the rights the law grants to consumers.

Governing law

Spanish law applies. Any dispute shall be settled by the Courts of Madrid, unless the law provides otherwise for consumers.
